Since this is a food product, we do not accept returns of products due to health reasons. We will respond quickly with instructions for how best to remedy your concern.
We can ship to virtually any address in the United States. Due to regional variations in temperature, there are some times of year that may require specialized shipping. If we believe the heat is too intense for a successful product, we will coordinate with you for a delayed shipment or a refund.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping based on the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
At Champlain Islands Candy Lab, we do everything we can to ensure that your purchase arrives at its destination in good condition.
- All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail
- Chocolates shipped during warm weather are packed with an ice pack.
- If the shipping destination is over 70º F and delivered to a residence, someone must be present to receive the package upon delivery to ensure that packages are not left in the sun, in warm porches/decks/mailboxes, etc.
If we feel we cannot safely ship your purchase due to extreme temperatures, we will contact you to discuss a delay in shipping or a refund.
